October 23, 2020 - the release date for the long-awaited first solo album by FABRICE PASCAL QUAGLIOTTI - leader and keyboard player with the legendary electro-rock band THE ROCKETS.

Entitled PARALLEL WORLDS and featuring 14 entirely new tracks FABRICE plays an amazing array of synthesizers - and even acoustic piano - creating a unique and atmospheric journey through a universe of sound,

Of special note is the collaboration on two tracks with French composer and musician Frederick Rousseau. Rousseau is the only man to have collaborated extensively with both VANGELIS and JEAN-MICHEL JARRE. Rousseau's work on such famous soundtracks as BLADE RUNNER (Ridley Scott) and ALEXANDER (Oliver Stone) have made him a much sought-after film co-composer. Rousseau is well-known also for his research into the "experience of listening" and the vinyl LP versions of PARALLEL WORLDS feature his unique BINAURAL MIX using SPAT REVOLUTION studio equipment that creates a sonic spatial effect when the music is listened to on multichannel speaker setups or on headphones.

Fabrice's musical explorations takes him to many parallel worlds, including those in Space ( "So Long Major Tom", Tovarisch Gagarin", "Hubble Space Telescope" ; the Inner Worlds of the mind, mysticism and magic ("Renaissance", "Alchemy", "Mezcal", "Song of the Earth") and the mysterious worlds of women & love "Princess", "Harem", "Walk Away").

BIO

FPQ was born in Paris. By age 5 he was already dreaming of becoming a musician and by 13 he was studying classical organ at the prestigious Paris Conservatory and later taking piano lessons from the Russian master - Yuri Postar.

At 16 he started a four member progressive rock band named "SEXAGONE" and at 17 (with Rosaire Riccobono - the bass player with the latest line-up of THE ROCKETS) formed "XERUS", playing over 60 concerts. That same year Fabrice was approached by Christian Le Bartz - front man of THE ROCKETS - who were looking for a new keyboard player. The rest is history. Within six months their eclectic version of "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" became a worldwide hit and THE ROCKETS played to huge stadium audiences.

Fabrice became a researcher in - and creator of - new electronic sounds, thanks to a new generation of musical instruments. His was a massive contribution to the success of the band that went on to record a series of million-selling albums such as "Plasteroid" and "Galaxy". His first synthesizer: a wonderful MiniMoog model D, was soon joined by a Hammond L 122, a Fender Rhodes, an Arp Odyssey and practically every other synthesizer ever made, culminating in a Dexibel Piano VivoS7 pro...

He moved to London for a while collaborating with legendary producer Trevor Horn and artists such as LEVEL 42 and KAJAGOOGOO. Although constant touring with THE ROCKETS has kept him busy he felt the time had come to work on a solo project. Parallel worlds collide - music for the 21st century.

Intitolato PARALLEL WORLDS, l'album contiene 14 brani totalmente nuovi. FABRICE suona una straordinaria gamma di sintetizzatori - e persino un pianoforte acustico - dando vita a un viaggio unico e ricco di atmosfera attraverso un universo di suoni.

BIOGRAFIA

Fabrice Pascal Quagliotti è nato a Parigi e già all'età di 5 anni sognava di diventare un musicista. A 13 anni comincia a studiare organo classico presso il prestigioso Conservatorio di Parigi e in seguito prende lezioni di pianoforte dal maestro russo Yuri Postar.

A 16 anni fonda una band progressive rock con quattro membri chiamata "SEXAGONE" e a 17 (con Rosaire Riccobono - il bassista della più recente formazione dei ROCKETS) forma i "XERUS", con i quali suona più di 60 concerti. Quello stesso anno Fabrice viene contattato da Christian Le Bartz - frontman dei ROCKETS - che stavano cercando un nuovo tastierista. E il resto è storia. Nel giro di sei mesi la loro eclettica versione di "ON THE ROAD AGAIN" diventa un successo a livello mondiale e i ROCKETS cominciano a suonare negli stadi gremiti di pubblico.

Fabrice si cimenta così nella ricerca - e nella creazione - di nuovi suoni elettronici, grazie a una nuova generazione di strumenti musicali. Il suo contributo al successo della band, che vende milioni di copie con album come "Plasteroid" e "Galaxy", è enorme. Il suo primo sintetizzatore, un meraviglioso MiniMoog modello D, è ben presto raggiunto da un Hammond L 122, un Fender Rhodes, un Arp Odyssey e praticamente ogni altro sintetizzatore mai prodotto, fino a raggiungere l'apice con un Dexibel Piano VivoS7 pro...

Per un certo periodo, si trasferisce a Londra per collaborare col leggendario produttore Trevor Horn e con artisti come LEVEL 42 e KAJAGOOGOO.

Nonostante sia impegnato costantemente con i tour dei ROCKETS, sente che è ormai giunto il momento di cimentarsi in un progetto solista.  Mondi paralleli che si scontrano - musica per il 21° secolo.
